Appsierra Group is seeking an experienced Senior Field Service Technician for a remote, contractor role. You will diagnose and repair industrial equipment, HVAC, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs, interpreting schematics and complex diagnostic data.

This position emphasizes clear written and verbal communication, safety compliance (NFPA 70/79, ASME A17.1, OSHA), and remote input. Compensation ranges from $115,200 to $211,200 annually, or $60 to $110 per hour, based on 48 workable weeks.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on troubleshooting across industrial equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Deep knowledge of PLC programming and industrial controls.
• Strong familiarity with NFPA 70, NFPA 79, ASME A17.1, and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagrams to understand operation and fault pathways.
• Diagnose faults across industrial systems using technical documentation.
• Analyze PLC logic to identify root causes of operational problems.
• Document troubleshooting methods, findings, and corrective actions in clear reports.
• Explain complex technical concepts effectively in writing and verbally.
