WMH is seeking a Senior Mechanic/Technician to join our elite team. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring peak performance, leading diagnostics, performing precision repairs, and proactive maintenance on advanced equipment. This role also involves leading by example, optimizing performance, and mentoring technicians. Your expertise will fuel operational success, maximize uptime, and set industry standards while fostering a culture of excellence.

Your Mission? To drive operational excellence through diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance that maximize uptime and efficiency. You’ll ensure peak performance for clients while mentoring the next generation of technicians. Your experience is the foundation for our future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independence & Field Expertise: Service customers on-site using a company-provided van with the latest tools & diagnostic technology.
  • Own Your Territory: Maintain and repair forklifts, heavy machinery, and material handling equipment across various industries.
  • Be the Expert in the Field: Deliver on-site service with speed, accuracy, and professionalism.

Advanced Diagnostics & Repairs

  • Troubleshoot: Diagnose complex mechanical, hydraulic, electrical issues.
  • Fix it Right: Execute repairs and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Own the Fleet: Maintain equipment through scheduled maintenance and safety checks.

Lead & Mentorship

  • Train & Develop: Share expertise, foster excellence, guide junior technicians.
  • Be a Leader: Set standards in service and help technicians elevate their skills.

Customer Service

  • Support: Provide expert consultation and service recommendations.
  • Communication: Keep clients informed about repairs and maintenance.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain Records: Accurate service reports and work logs.
  • Safety & Compliance: Follow OSHA standards and industry regulations.

  • Diverse job sites.

  • Embrace dust and noise.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in various conditions, and travel within territory. Valid driver’s license required.
