ASM is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair advanced semiconductor capital equipment for customers worldwide. You will serve as a technical expert in the field, delivering exceptional service while ensuring equipment performance, reliability, and safety.

Join a global team and support customers across domestic and international locations, with 25–75% travel. A Bachelor's in Electronics or related field and 5+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in electronics/mechatronics or related field
• 5+ years in field service or semiconductor manufacturing with complex capital equipment
• Experience reading electrical/electro-mechanical schematics and drawings
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Responsibilities

• Install, qualify, perform preventative maintenance and repair on complex semiconductor capital equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical and software issues in customer environments
• Provide timely, professional technical support to customers while maintaining high customer satisfaction
• Interpret schematics and technical documentation to diagnose equipment issues
• Support equipment upgrades, modifications, and process improvements
• Document service activities and findings accurately
• Collaborate with engineering, support, and customer teams to resolve issues
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a safety-first mindset
• Travel domestically and internationally (25–75%) to support installations and service requirements
