Job summary

BWT Pharma & Biotech is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on water treatment equipment across the New England region. The role requires hands-on electro-mechanical work, troubleshooting, calibration, and documentation to ensure high-quality service.

You will troubleshoot on-site and remotely, support start-up and commissioning, and maintain detailed reports for customers. Travel across North America is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years experience with electro-mechanical equipment such as pumps, valves, motors.
• 5-10 years experience in system maintenance.
• 3-6 years experience with electrical control panels and instrumentation tuning.
• 3-6 years of water treatment industry experience.
• Proficient with Windows-based computer systems.
• Willing to travel regionally across North America and work remotely when needed.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Proficient and mastery on preventive and corrective maintenance on water treatment equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues remotely and on-site at customer sites.
• Perform start-up support and commissioning documentation.
• Maintain internal documentation and submit external reports to customers.
• Read and interpret system documentation including PID, schematics, and parts lists.
• Interface with end users and ensure customer satisfaction at all times.
