Job summary

Power Test, LLC in Wisconsin seeks a Senior Field Service Technician to install, commission, and start up dynamometer systems at customer facilities. You will train end-users, OEMs, and customers in troubleshooting and optimization, ensuring system performance and customer independence.

You will liaise with Service, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales to deliver high-quality service, perform failure analysis, and support warranty and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Requires degree or equivalent with 5–10+ years in electronics/electrical controls, mechanical, or engine testing.
• Hands-on commissioning, troubleshooting, and system integration experience.
• Travel up to 50–70% of the time; passport required for international travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, commissioning, and start-up of Power Test equipment at customer sites.
• Provide advanced technical assistance and troubleshooting for dynamometer systems.
• Train end-users and customers on operation and maintenance.
• Draft service quotes and coordinate with Service Manager on warranty matters.
• Prepare detailed service reports and maintain calibration tools inventory.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales to resolve issues.
