Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Senior Technical Service Specialist to lead installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer support for Affera mapping and ablation platforms. The role is remote/field-based with extensive travel to customer sites across the United Kingdom, Ireland, and wider EMEA regions.

You will collaborate with Sales, Clinical, Quality, Production, Engineering, and Field Service teams to ensure successful product implementation and ongoing customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related technical discipline with field service experience in medical devices or similar regulated industries.
• Experience servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex electronic or electro-mechanical equipment.
• Experience performing installations, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance in customer-facing environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform site assessments, installations, inspections, verification activities, corrective maintenance, and preventive maintenance for Affera systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to maximize system performance and customer uptime.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison for customers, providing expert support throughout the product lifecycle.
