Senior Field Service Engineer – AMHS & CIP Upgrades

Job summary

Daifuku North America seeks a Field Service Engineer to sustain AMHS equipment at a customer facility. You will proactively identify and resolve daily issues, perform repairs, and implement CIP upgrades. You will work with minimal direction from the crew chief or EIC on site.

Responsibilities include locating problem sources, ensuring operation of machinery, maintaining inventories, and providing ongoing training. Travel to additional sites may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• AS/BS degree or technical degree equivalent with 2-4 years of experience or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, and test instrumentation.
• Ability to travel for training or to assist at other sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Locate sources of problems by observing equipment in operation and troubleshooting downtime.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance per specifications and maintain service logs.
• Maintain site equipment inventories and ensure accurate stock records.
• Maintain L3 certification on site equipment and stay updated on CIP modifications.
• Assist with new equipment installations or modifications with the Installation team.
