Position Summary

We are looking for a dynamic Safety Technician who can: Lead safety initiatives with confidence and authority. Identify potential hazards, assess risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies. Develop comprehensive safety‑control programs tailored to a cutting‑edge semiconductor facility—one of the most advanced in the United States.

Role and Responsibilities
Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:
  • Performdailyon‑sitesafetyobservations,verifythatOSHAregulationsandSASSiteSafetyProgramsarebeingfollowed.Participateingradedfieldwalks,pre‑task‑planreviews,TierICategoryBaudits,andinspections.
  • Attendcontractors&vendorssafetymeetings,contributetotheSafety‑relatedTaskForceTeam(TFT)andotherEHSsupportactivities.
  • IncidentResponse:Serveasthefirstresponderforallon‑siteinjuries/incidentreports. Conductinitialinvestigations,gathercriticalinformation,anddocumentfindingspromptly.
  • ScaffoldingOversight:ActasaScaffoldingCompetentPerson–inspectscaffoldingsystemsandprovideOSHA‑compliantsign‑off.
  • ComplianceAssurance:ExecuteTierIauditsandinspectionspertheEHSTieredAuditProgram(EHS‑090).Identifynon‑compliances,escalatethemappropriately,andensuresupportingdocumentationiscompletedforclosure.
  • LeadingSafetyMetric(LSM)KPI:ReviewandapproveLSMactionsandprojectsacrossmultipleEHSprogramsonaquarterlybasis.TrackprogressagainstKPItargetsandreportoutcomes.
Skills and Qualifications
Here’s what you’ll need:
  • Minimum7+yearsinHealth&Safetyroles.
  • AssociateofSciencedegree(preferred).
  • Pursuingarecognizedsafetycredential(e.g.,CHST,CSHO,ASP,etc.)isastrongplus.
  • HazardousMaterials&Regulations–Solidunderstandingofhazardous‑materialhandling,associatedregulations,andNIOSHstandards.
  • ManagementSystemStandards–Workingknowledgeof: OHSAS18001, ISO14001(EnvironmentalManagement), ISO50001(EnergyManagement), ISO45001(OccupationalHealth&Safety)
  • OSHA–FamiliaritywithOSHAregulatoryrequirementsandreportingguidelines.
  • MicrosoftOffice–ProficientwithWord,Excel,PowerPoint,Outlook,andTeams.

The current base salary range for this role is between $31.00 - $46.00/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
