Job summary

BridgeBio Pharma is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager – Rare Disease (Hybrid) to lead reimbursement and patient access strategies across a rare disease portfolio in a hybrid Associate Director role. You will collaborate with providers, patients, hubs, and internal teams to ensure compliant access and affordability.

The role requires deep payer knowledge in the U.S., 8+ years in biotech/pharma, and a demonstrated ability to work independently in a cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in biotech/pharma with reimbursement, market access, patient services, or rare disease
• Deep understanding of U.S. payer systems, including commercial and government coverage pathways
• Experience navigating specialty pharmacy and hub models
• Strong knowledge of compliance requirements related to patient support and access services
• Ability to work independently in a field-based, cross-functional environment

Responsibilities

• Reimbursement & Access Strategy (Provider-Facing): serve as regional subject matter expert on reimbursement and access for BridgeBio therapies; educate provider offices on reimbursement processes; identify and address access barriers; integrate access processes into provider workflows; provide compliant education on BridgeBio patient support programs; share payer policy trends with Market Access leadership.
• Patient Support & Access Coordination: educate consented patients and care partners; support understanding of reimbursement processes and patient support resources; coordinate hubs, specialty pharmacies, prescriber offices, and support programs to facilitate access; escalate access-related challenges; support onboarding of consented patients into BridgeBio programs.
• Cross-Functional Leadership & Insight Generation: act as senior field partner to Market Access, Patient Services, Compliance, Legal, Medical, Commercial, Sales; provide de-identified field insights; contribute to development of access strategies and tools; participate in cross-functional initiatives; mentor field access colleagues.
• Compliance & Ethical Standards: operate in compliance with policies and laws including HIPAA and OIG; provide patient-facing support in hybrid setting; ensure all interactions are compliant and non-promotional; handle PHI per policy.
• Scope & Impact: senior individual contributor with autonomy; manage complex access challenges; influence strategy through field insights and collaboration
