Job summary

Picarro is seeking a Senior Mobile Software Engineer to own the mobile experience for field-facing instruments and cloud integration. You will design native or cross-platform apps, ensure offline-first syncing, and handle Bluetooth/BLE integrations, while mentoring peers in mobile architecture.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of mobile development, experience with AI-assisted coding tools, and a track record of delivering robust, production-grade apps in a hardware-connected context.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mobile engineering experience with production apps on Android and/or iOS.
• Real experience with offline-first architecture and data sync patterns.
• Experience integrating with hardware/sensors via Bluetooth/BLE is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and build native or cross-platform mobile apps for Android and iOS.
