Fieldpiece seeks a Senior iOS/Android Engineer to design, develop, and support native apps that connect technicians to Fieldpiece data and insights. You will collaborate with Product, UX, Cloud Eng., and Software Eng. teams to build high-performance mobile experiences.

The role emphasizes architecture, mobile best practices, and contributions to cloud-enabled platforms, with a hybrid on-site schedule in Orange, CA and a potential move to nearby offices in 2028.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of software development with mobile apps (iOS/Android).
• Experience with native apps using Swift/Obj-C or Kotlin/Java; REST APIs; cloud services.
• Familiarity with Git and modern source control; Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain native iOS and Android apps using Swift/Objective‑C/Kotlin/Java.
• Support full app lifecycle: design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring.
• Build secure, high-performance apps integrating with cloud SaaS/DaaS via REST APIs.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and maintainability across devices.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, Cloud, and Software teams.
• Champion mobile best practices and contribute to architecture and Agile delivery.
