Job summary

RWDY Inc. seeks a Field Operator III – Production in Spring, TX to operate production equipment and wells per established procedures, supporting the daily plan and reducing downtime. The role emphasizes safety and efficient resource use.

Key activities include monitoring wells, coordinating maintenance, collecting samples, and participating in safety and emergency responses. This is a one-year contract with a 14/14 schedule, ASAP start, and hands-on field responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Completed secondary education and experience as a Field Technician.
• Oil and gas production experience.
• Control room experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• High standards for safety, health, and environmental practices.
• Extensive knowledge of pipeline operations.
• Extensive knowledge of safety and operations management tools and processes.
• Strong knowledge of emergency preparedness procedures.
• Extensive knowledge of project philosophy and design specifications.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations.
• Knowledge of relevant commercial agreements.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily objectives while maintaining housekeeping, safety, health, environmental, and security standards.
• Actively participate in daily toolbox meetings and safety meetings.
• Continuously monitor wells and equipment to identify and implement corrective or optimization actions.
• Maintain reliable, efficient, and safe operating conditions.
• Function as an Equipment Care Technician and perform routine maintenance.
• Report when alarm, emergency, or shutdown systems are out of service.
• Provide detailed shift handover information to ensure operational continuity.
• Coordinate, control, and monitor maintenance activities per maintenance plans.
• Record relevant operational events, abnormal conditions, and deviations in the logbook.
• Collect product samples for laboratory analysis and perform field tests.
• Participate in emergency response activities.
• Report incidents and elevate awareness per guidelines.
• Keep the Operations Shift Supervisor informed of activities.
• Maintain clear communication across the work team.
• Provide information on well production problems, rates, and conditions.
• Ensure well problem diagnostics are thorough before requesting Wellwork intervention.
• Maintain wellheads and surface equipment in good order before transfer to Wellwork.
• Provide assistance and support to ongoing Wellwork operations.
