Job summary

Takeda seeks a Senior Medical Science Liaison to join the US Medical team. This field-based role analyzes, translates, and disseminates scientific data to KOLs and healthcare professionals, translating insights to advance Takeda's medical strategy and patient outcomes.

With a Doctoral degree preferred and a minimum of two years as an MSL in pharma, you will build KOL networks, support sponsored research, and manage inquiries, while maintaining compliant CRM and administrative duties.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree preferred (PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent).
• Master’s degree in health sciences (MSN, NP or PA) is the minimum requirement.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MSL in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Dissemination of complex scientific data to healthcare audiences.
• Clinical, research, and/or teaching experience.
• Ability to work effectively in virtual and cross-functional teams.
• Execution of activities within legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
• Travel up to 70% of time, including overnight/weekend.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret complex scientific information and disseminate to KOLs/HCPs in a compliant, fair-balanced, and non-misleading manner.
• Support Takeda-sponsored research and assist with medical collaborative studies and investigator-initiated research.
• Display advanced knowledge of therapeutic area topics and collect insights from KOLs/HCPs to inform medical strategies.
• Identify and cultivate partnerships between KOLs/HCPs and Takeda US Medical.
• Participate in executing medical strategy at conferences and communicate insights gained.
• Respond to unsolicited HCP medical information inquiries referred by Medical Information.
• Complete CRM entries, insights capture, and other admin responsibilities in a timely, accurate, and compliant manner.
