Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison to join the US Medical team as a field-based expert. The role analyzes and interprets complex scientific data, disseminates insights to KOLs and healthcare professionals, and supports externally sponsored studies to advance medical strategies and improve patient outcomes.

You will build relationships with KOLs/HCPs, capture insights in CRM, and travel up to 70% to meet customers across Massachusetts and national virtual engagements, reporting to

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of field-based MSL experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Dissemination of complex scientific data to healthcare audiences.
• Clinical, research, and/or teaching experience.
• Ability to work effectively in virtual and cross-functional teams.
• Execution of activities within legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret complex scientific information and disseminate to KOLs/HCPs in a compliant, balanced way.
• Support Takeda-sponsored research and facilitate investigator-initiated studies.
• Identify and cultivate partnerships between KOLs/HCPs and Takeda US Medical.
• Participate in executing medical strategy at conferences and internal communications.
• Document activities in CRM, complete training and administrative tasks.
