Job summary

PhoenixAI is seeking a Field Marketing Manager to own our in-person event programs end-to-end. This senior role requires hands-on leadership and a track record of managing high-stakes tech startup events, with a focus on data, infrastructure, or SaaS spaces.

You will define program goals, execute flawlessly, and report results to the business. Expect to work cross-functionally with DevRel, Community, Sales, and Customer Success, and to travel for conferences and meetups in the Bay Area and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field or event marketing at a fast-growing tech startup.
• Experience organizing events for open-source or developer communities is required.
• Existing network in open-source data ecosystem is strongly preferred.
• Ability to manage sponsorships, venues, vendors, and budgets under tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of in-person events from strategy to reporting.
• Build and run a monthly Bay Area meetup and other city programs with speakers from the community.
• Plan quarterly executive customer receptions in collaboration with Sales and Customer Success.
• Lead presence at major conferences and partner events, including sponsorships and on-site execution.
• Coordinate with Product, Solutions Architects, and DevRel to support event content and demos.
• Track performance and report MQLs/SQLs, pipeline influence, and awareness metrics.
