Ruppert Landscape is seeking a Field Manager for Landscape Maintenance to oversee field crews, manage labor and materials, and ensure contract objectives and budgets are met. The role emphasizes team development, customer communication, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

The Field Manager will coordinate with branch leadership to drive renewal of contracts, schedule work efficiently, and maintain vehicle and equipment readiness while supporting a family-owned, employee-owned company

Competenze

• At least one year of experience doing contract maintenance work in a commercial setting.
• Two- or four-year horticultural or related degrees; additional experience can substitute for missing education.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record over the last three years.
• Ability to identify and diagnose insect and disease problems and schedule appropriate treatment.
• Experience managing labor in field operations and coordinating crews.

• Develop a clear understanding of branch goals, finances, and short- and long-term objectives.
• Get to know team members and set goals, monitor progress through evaluations.
• Attend or conduct regular certification trainings as part of the training process.
• Plan, schedule and supervise daily production activities on assigned contracts.
• Understand hourly and cost budgets and monitor hours and costs; communicate budget hours to staff.
• Maintain client relationships by ensuring service quality on every job.
• Inspect work daily, complete service reports, and proactively address issues with customers.
• Sell extras using T&M tickets where appropriate.
• Keep assigned vehicles and equipment in good working order.
