Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking a Field Supervisor for Commercial Installed projects in the Cincinnati area. The role oversees development, implementation, and supervision of large commercial installations, maintaining open communication between the field and corporate offices to ensure timely, accurate production.

Key duties include guiding project direction, coordinating policy implementation, conducting site visits, and ensuring safety and quality standards across stores and installers.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial construction/project management.
• Solid understanding of Job Site Management processes and construction assembly.
• Adheres to safety procedures and practices.
• Knowledge of contract changes, build out processes and schedules.
• Ability to analyze data and prepare reports.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Read and comprehend blueprints.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel to various job sites, including overnight.

Responsibilities

• Assists in setting the direction for installed commercial projects.
• Develops and oversees all aspects of installed commercial projects in region to meet goals.
• Contributes to annual budget development and ensures adherence.
• Develops and implements regional policies for installed projects.
• Facilitates weekly field conference calls, records minutes and conducts site visits.
• Recommend resolutions to avoid site issues and ensure policy compliance.
• Provide guidance to stores to execute projects properly.
• Organize training and certify subcontractors for product installations.
• Ensure stores/installers are aware of safety guidelines and procedures.
