Job summary

PMA is seeking an experienced Field Construction Manager to oversee field execution of baggage handling system stabilization and improvement work at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). This role will manage construction workstreams, coordinate contractors, safety, quality, schedule, testing, commissioning, and closeout around an operating baggage system.

Candidates should have 10+ years in construction management on technically complex projects and a related engineering degree.

Qualifications

10+ years of relevant construction management or field oversight on technically complex projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical discipline.
Experience independently managing field activities, contractors, and shutdowns in active airport environments.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day field leadership for baggage handling system stabilization and improvements.
Plan and monitor field execution around live baggage operations and approved shutdown windows.
Monitor compliance with safety, quality, QA/QC, and documentation requirements.
Manage field issues, RFIs, submittals, deficiencies, and proposed changes.
Coordinate interfaces across mechanical, electrical, controls, and related systems.
