Job summary

TYLin in Indianapolis is seeking a Senior Construction Inspector to support water and wastewater distribution/underground projects. You will inspect watermain replacements and lead service line replacements, and oversee sewer and manhole lining work on wastewater projects.

The role requires 5–8 years in water consulting, with field experience and familiarity with GSP equipment; you will communicate with contractors, utilities, designers, and the public to keep projects on track and compliant.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in water consulting performing studies, design, and construction services for municipal, state, or private clients.
• Experience using GSP equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect water service line materials to verify presence of lead.
• Communicate with Contractor, Utility, Design Team, and Public regarding project status and address any concerns.
• Review conditions in the field, anticipate issues, and coordinate with Owner and Contractor when conflicts occur.
• Prepare Daily Reports and Testing Documentation per project requirements
