Job summary

SRE Engineering is seeking experienced Field Inspectors to support active transit infrastructure work within the MTA system in New York. You will perform daily field inspections, monitor contractor compliance, and document activity per MTA standards.

Candidates must have hands-on MTA construction inspection experience, OSHA-30, and track safety training. Flexibility for nights and weekends and ability to mobilize quickly are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of field inspection experience on MTA C&D, NYCT, or MTA-agency construction projects.
• Familiarity with MTA construction procedures, PMGs, and Unifier document management.
• OSHA-30 required.
• Track safety training.
• ADA, structural, civil, architectural, or mechanical inspection experience preferred.
• Chapter 17 Special Inspection credentials a strong plus.
• Flexibility for nights, weekends, and GO windows.
• Strong written documentation skills.

• Assist with punch lists, substantial completion walkthroughs, and closeout documentation
