Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Senior Technician to lead fresh-concrete testing and IBC-based special inspections on major structural projects. You will mentor junior technicians, coordinate with engineers, officials, and superintendents, and own the testing record for critical placements.

You will manage multi-state deployments, travel as required, and contribute to the quality and defensibility of every report.

Qualifications

• 3+ years CMT or special inspection experience.
• Certification stack including ICC Reinforced Concrete or Soils, NICET Level II+ or ACI field certifications.
• Willing to travel for defined project programs.
• Comfortable owning the testing record on major placements.

Responsibilities

• Lead fresh-concrete testing and special inspection on structural work.
• Document inspections per project IBC special inspection programs.
• Mentor and check junior field technicians; coordinate daily with superintendents, engineers, and officials.
• Support multi-state industrial deployments on a project basis.
