Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an experienced on-site HVAC service professional to perform end-to-end testing, startup, commissioning, and servicing at customer locations. You will represent the company, diagnose issues, and repair equipment while coordinating with project teams to ensure timely, quality installations.

The role requires a high school diploma, 10+ years HVAC experience, and a valid driver’s license; EPA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Typically 10+ years of HVAC experience.
• Technical School or formal training preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and handheld devices.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with clean record.
• EPA Certification preferred (e.g. HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator).

Responsibilities

• End to end testing, downloading programming, starting up, commissioning, and servicing on assigned projects.
• Serve as direct customer contact and provide service on site, diagnosing and repairing equipment.
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs.
• Use software and tools to diagnose and repair units, following blueprints or specs.
• Adhere to safety standards and manage company assets, recording usage and condition.
• Mentor team members and be flexible for overtime and overnight stays.
