Job summary

WSP USA, Inc. is seeking a mid-career geologist to plan and implement field investigations, write technical documents, and provide construction oversight. The role interfaces with clients and teams of engineers, geologists, and scientists on environmental assessments and remediation projects.

You will lead multidisciplinary field teams, ensure safety and quality, and travel to project sites as needed, contributing to site development and soil/groundwater remediation efforts.

Qualifications

• BS in Geology required.
• Ability to prepare design engineering calculations, reports, specifications, and drawings.
• Ability to lead technical/field teams on large projects.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and adhering to policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead field investigations and manage multidisciplinary field teams.
• Prepare Sampling and Analysis Plans and Site Specific Health and Safety Plans.
• Oversee subcontractors for soil borings, monitoring wells, and geophysical work.
• Perform environmental sampling and geologic logging and data checks.
• Write daily observation reports and ensure compliance with project specs.
