Job summary

Republic Business Credit, a subsidiary of Renasant Bank, seeks Field Examiner II to conduct on-site evaluations of borrower financial records and collateral, primarily accounts receivable and inventory, ensuring existence, eligibility, and valuation. You will own examinations end-to-end, from scoping to final report, with minimal supervision, handling complex engagements.

Travel 30–50% is required; hybrid on-site/remote environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of ABL experience, commercial lending, audit, or accounting experience.
• CFE, CPA, or progress toward either designation is preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Conduct On-Site and Remote Field Examinations, plan scope, and execute evaluations with minimal supervision.
• Collateral Verification: verify inventory and receivables existence and location.
• Accounts Receivable Analysis: review aging, concentrations, and liquidity; confirm validity of receivables.
• Inventory Analysis: assess quality and valuation methods; verify locations and insurance.
• Financial Statement Analysis: analyze balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows for credit risk.
• Borrowing Base Certificate validation and internal control assessment.
• Identify risks and red flags; review other assets/liabilities for impact on collateral.
• Ensure loan agreement compliance; prepare comprehensive examination reports and executive summaries.
