Job summary

Republic Business Credit, a subsidiary of Renasant Bank, is seeking a Field Examiner I in the US. The role conducts on-site evaluations of borrower financial records and collateral, verifies receivables and inventory, and prepares reports to support lending decisions.

Travel is required (roughly 30–50%), with on-site or hybrid work arrangements. You will work under supervision initially and progress to independent examinations, contributing to risk mitigation and credit quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1 to 3 years of ABL, commercial lending, audit, or accounting experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong understanding of accounting.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Plan, scope, and execute field examinations of borrower records.
• Verify collateral existence and condition.
• Analyze accounts receivable aging and collectability.
• Assess inventory quality and valuation methods.
• Analyze financial statements for credit risk.
• Validate Borrowing Base Certificate.
• Evaluate internal controls.
• Identify risks and red flags.
• Review other assets/liabilities affecting collateral.
• Ensure loan agreement compliance.
• Prepare comprehensive examination reports.
• Develop executive summaries.
• Suggest recommendations on rates, reserves, and monitoring.
• Communicate findings to lenders and management.
• Interact with borrower management professionally.
