Northrop Grumman in Cheyenne, WY, is seeking an RVA CLS Principal Field Engineer to lead field technicians and sustain the Missile Field RVA network at FE Warren AFB. The role involves safe, secure work, troubleshooting with the NOC and government contacts, routine maintenance, and occasional travel.

Candidates must have leadership ability, the capacity to lift up to 40 lbs, and be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years with BS in Science; 3 years with MS; 1 year with PhD; additional experience may substitute.
• 2 years in a leadership role.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork in a technical environment.
• Proficiency in root-cause analysis, solution development, implementation and monitoring.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work at heights; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead field technicians and oversee critical repair actions to sustain RVA network.
• Troubleshoot with NOC and government points of contact; resolve issues promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting and repairs on RVA equipment.
• Travel occasionally; work at heights up to 50 feet and on towers.
• Maintain safety and environmental health standards; provide training as needed.
