Qualifications

• 5+ years in testing, commissioning, operations, or field engineering.
• Experience commissioning electrical or electromechanical equipment in field environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause-analysis skills.
• Ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex technical issues and manage integrated systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for demonstrations, testing, and projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead field execution of technology validation programs at the NLR test facility.
• Design, build, and implement test setups for emerging energy technologies (batteries, inverters, controls).
• Prepare equipment, instrumentation, wiring, communications, and data acquisition for testing.
• Execute tests and demonstrations with adherence to safety requirements.
• Develop test reports, lessons learned, and technical summaries.
