Job summary

ENFRA LLC is seeking an Energy Systems Analyst III to perform on-site surveys, advanced building system assessments, and preliminary engineering analysis on complex projects. You will serve as a technical resource for junior analysts and collaborate closely with Pre-Engineering Team Leads to ensure project accuracy.

The role requires mentoring responsibilities, deep knowledge of energy systems, and the ability to interact with owners, clients, and architects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• 5 years of related energy engineering experience.
• Experience conducting independent site surveys and complex facility energy assessments.
• Knowledge of central energy plants, mechanical or electrical systems, and control systems.
• Strong experience with energy conservation measure development and preliminary engineering deliverables.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Strong verbal and written communication with stakeholders.
• Excellent time management to meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Independently operates on site surveys to assess facility conditions and identify energy conservation measures.
• Performs and reviews advanced mechanical and electrical calculations including load calculations and system sizing.
• Develops equipment inventories, energy measures, sketches, pricing narratives and preliminary deliverables.
• Reviews mechanical and electrical design drawings for completeness and accuracy.
• Leads complex survey projects as technical lead, coordinating with energy modelers, financial modelers, and design teams.
• Manages information flow from field surveys to pre-engineering and design teams.
• Communicates client requirements and prepares meeting notes.
• Applies applicable codes and standards in retrofit solutions.
• Mentors ESA I/II and may provide formal leadership in rare occasions.
• Attends training sessions and participates in industry events.
• Upholds ENFRA’s advocacy philosophy.
