Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions seeks a qualified technician to provide preventive, corrective and general maintenance for fielded VTS and SCCCS systems at the Staten Island Coast Guard Sector, with potential travel. You will support electronic systems installation, troubleshooting and repair, while adhering to safety policies and customer requirements.

The role requires US citizenship, ability to obtain security clearance, and the capacity to climb towers and work on remote sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Electronics Engineering or completion of USCG/DOD Technical Schools preferred.
• Four (4) or more years of experience with C4IT/C4ISR systems.
• Experience in electronic systems installation, troubleshooting and/or repair (USCG/DOD).
• Must be able to climb towers and obtain tower climbing certification.
• Must be able to drive and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive maintenance for electronic systems.
• Update maintenance procedures as needed.
• Provide casualty maintenance for supported electronic systems.
• Support IT functions for maintenance completion.
• Travel to remote sites for maintenance.
• Review system schematics and work within deadlines.
