Job summary

Parsons is seeking an Engineering Technician to join the FAA's TSSC-5 project. The role involves installation, testing, and maintenance of NAS electronic systems across the USA with travel up to 100%.

You will work under supervision, following FAA directives and contract requirements, while supporting senior technicians and engineers. The position requires a high school diploma, basic electronics knowledge, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Must be able to meet customer security requirements and pass a background check by federal authorities.
• Must be able to travel up to 100% within the USA.
• May require repetitive movement such as lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, and standing.
• Five plus years of working knowledge of basic analog and digital electronics and RF fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Install, relocation, and removal of electronic systems per drawings and installation standards.
• Test, troubleshoot, and repair systems to unit, board, or module level.
• Document maintenance logs, service tickets, and test results.
• Assist with field installations and site work under TSSC‑5.
• Follow FAA orders, work instructions, and site procedures.
