Job summary

Parsons is seeking an Electronics Technician III to support the FAA under the TSSC-5 contract. Responsibilities include installation, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation of NAS-related electronic systems across sites nationwide, with supervision from senior technicians and engineers.

The role requires reading schematics, testing with DMMs and oscilloscopes, and adherence to safety and quality procedures. Travel up to 100% within the USA is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Must be able to travel up to 100% within the USA.
• Five plus years of working knowledge of analog and digital electronics and RF/communications equipment.
• Use of standard electronic test equipment (DMMs, basic scopes, signal generators).
• Ability to read and interpret basic schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Follow written and verbal instructions and standard procedures.
• Work safely in field, shop, and facility environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, relocate, and remove electronic systems and equipment per drawings.
• Troubleshoot and repair to unit, board, or module level.
• Document maintenance logs, service tickets, and test results.
• Assist with unit power-up, alignment, and functional testing.
