Job summary

EDF power solutions North America is seeking an Advanced Wind Technician to support drivetrain maintenance and major component repairs at renewable-energy projects across the U.S. This role requires travel and hands-on work in field conditions, with training provided at start.

You will assist with MCR services, rigging, safety, and procedure development, while ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. A clean driving record and ability to work in extreme weather are essential.

Qualifications

• Safety and technical training for Advanced Wind Technician required.
• Ability to read basic schematics and follow instructions.
• Experience with mechanical/electrical aspects of wind tech is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with MCR specialized services and major component work.
• Support Drivetrain Specialist with crane operations and rigging.
• Perform large corrective repairs and R&R under direction.
• Travel to project sites to support MCR activities.
• Develop and follow heavy lift procedures and controls.
• Ensure quality control during R&R and safety compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.
