United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Field Diesel Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on complex equipment with minimal supervision. You’ll work across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems and travel to customer sites as needed.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and customer service in a fast-paced field environment. With 5+ years of relevant experience, you will contribute to the Service Department and may mentor newer technicians.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and tools.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.

Responsibilities

• Repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on equipment and tools.
• Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer-owned equipment.
• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) daily.
• Assist in training of lower level technicians as needed.
