Job summary

Divcon in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Lead Field DDC Engineer to design, develop, and deliver Delta Controls DDC-based building automation for large-scale data centers. This role combines hands-on programming with project-level technical leadership across design, commissioning, and turnover.

You will guide engineering execution, mentor engineers, review work, and ensure high-quality, scalable DDC deliverables while supporting enteliWEB SCADA deployments and GCL+ programming.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in DDC programming, building automation, or controls engineering.
• 2+ years of technical leadership or team lead experience in field operations.
• Expert-level proficiency with Delta Controls GCL+ and software tools.
• Hands-on experience deploying enteliWEB deployment, configuration, and commissioning.
• Proven experience programming and commissioning complex HVAC systems including central plants, chillers, and boilers.
• Advanced knowledge of BACnet/IP, BACnet MS/TP, Modbus TCP, and network configuration.
• Willingness to travel 50–60% and hold a valid driver's license.
• OSHA 10 certification within the past two years.

Responsibilities

• Lead the DDC engineering scope across projects from design through turnover.
• Define project-level control strategies, DDC architecture, and network design.
• Coordinate DDC deliverables across project teams, field teams, vendors, and integrators.
• Provide technical leadership during client meetings, reviews, and issue resolution.
• Mentor Field DDC Engineers and support onboarding of new team members.
• Lead deployment of enteliWEB environments for mission-critical data centers.
