Job summary

Divcon Controls seeks a Senior Field DDC Engineer to lead deployment, commissioning, and optimization of Delta Controls DDC systems for mission-critical data centers. You will mentor Field DDC Engineers, guide complex projects, and stay hands-on in GCL+ programming, enteliWEB deployment, and system integration.

The role requires extensive field experience, strong communication, and travel up to 60%. You will collaborate with project teams to ensure successful execution and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on DDC programming and building automation experience with Delta Controls.
• Expert knowledge of Delta Controls GCL+ programming, controller configuration, and enteliWEB deployment.
• Extensive field experience commissioning BAS/BMS/EPMS systems.
• Advanced knowledge of BACnet/IP, BACnet MS/TP, Modbus TCP, and network configuration.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across DDC applications, networking, and system integrations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects without direct supervisory responsibility.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; willingness to travel 50–60%.
• OSHA 10 certification within the past two years (training provided if needed).

Responsibilities

• Lead development, configuration, deployment, and commissioning of Delta Controls DDC systems for data center BMS and EPMS applications.
• Program advanced GCL+ control logic including complex HVAC sequences, equipment staging, alarm handling, scheduling, trending, and system recovery.
• Configure Delta Controls enteliWEB environments including graphics, navigation, dashboards, user roles, and system connectivity.
• Develop and maintain controller databases, I/O structures, device bindings, and network configurations.
• Lead integration with PLCs, Ignition SCADA, Kepware, OPC UA, BACnet/IP, BACnet MS/TP, Modbus, and third-party systems.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of communications, data integrity, GCL+ logic, hardware, and performance issues.
• Validate complete DDC system functionality through commissioning, point-to-point testing, and customer acceptance.
• Mentor Field DDC Engineers and review engineering work.
• Manage complex DDC workstreams from design through turnover.
• Coordinate technical activities with Project Managers, Controls Engineers, field personnel, and customers.
• Identify technical risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Support project scheduling by identifying engineering dependencies and priorities.
• Participate in customer meetings and technical design reviews.
