Job summary

Fluor Corporation, a leading global engineering and construction firm, seeks an experienced Field Construction Manager (Manager IV, Construction) to oversee site activities on large projects typically over $500 million. The role requires directing construction staff, coordinating contractors, and ensuring work aligns with drawings, specs, schedules, and budgets.

Qualifications

Accredited four-year degree and 20+ years of related experience, or 24 years if non-degreed.
Ability to communicate with audiences including management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors and other stakeholders.
Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.

Responsibilities

Ensure field construction activities meet project drawings, specs, schedules, and cost estimates.
Direct construction staff and supervising personnel to meet project objectives.
Control project schedule and cost using available resources (labor, materials, tools, equipment).
Monitor productivity and cost; take action to maximize labor productivity and cost-effectiveness.
Promote a strong safety culture on the project; integrate safety into all work.
Other duties as assigned.
