Job summary

Clark Construction Group is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead field operations on complex projects in San Francisco. You will oversee self-performed and subcontracted work, ensuring compliance with contracts and the project schedule while promoting safety and quality on site.

You will develop sequencing plans, manage logistics, and communicate progress to stakeholders. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong problem-solving, and the ability to drive projects to on-time, on-budget

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience on large-scale commercial construction projects.
• 4+ years leading, developing, and motivating teams.
• Experience building high-rise residential, mixed-use, or higher education projects.
• In-depth knowledge of construction: scheduling, contract administration, equipment, and personnel.
• Demonstrated experience leading field operations and communicating plans across audiences.
• Advanced knowledge of safety and building regulations (OSHA).

Responsibilities

• Oversee timely and quality installation of contracted work for total project or a scope/portion.
• Foster safety and quality culture; conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance.
• Create and manage a plan to sequence work, manage site logistics, and track materials/personnel.
• Ensure high quality aligned with project and company standards.
• Deliver project on schedule and on budget; take initiative and responsibility.
• Develop and communicate the project schedule; manage milestones with stakeholders.
• Lead multi-disciplinary meetings to gain buy-in on schedule.
• Mentor, manage, and develop team members; build a high-performing team.
• Cultivate relationships with all project stakeholders; represent company professionally.
