Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to perform final testing, startup, and commissioning of low and medium voltage electrical distribution equipment in the field and in manufacturing environments.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of relevant electrical experience (or 8+ years with an associate/bachelor’s and 5+ years’ additional experience) and possess valid U.S. work authorization. Local, regional, and national travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant electrical experience with HS diploma or GED or 5+ years with an associate/bachelor’s degree.
• Valid/active U.S. Work Authorization.

Responsibilities

• Assist more experienced commissioning specialists coordinating and reviewing electrical deliverables.
• Prepare and review simple electrical sketches, CX plans, and data sheets.
• Perform simple routine electrical calculations.
• Review supplier documentation for compliance with specifications.
• Use the electrical engineering portal to access department guides and standards.
