Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to perform final testing, startup, and commissioning of low and medium voltage electrical distribution equipment both in the field and in manufacturing environments.

You will coordinate with senior staff, review drawings and data sheets, perform basic electrical calculations, and travel to customer sites as needed. A strong grounding in electrical theory, power systems, and technical writing is required, along with U.S. work authorization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with U.S. work authorization.
• Associate’s degree holders with relevant electrical experience also considered.
• High school diploma or GED with substantial electrical experience accepted.
• Candidates must possess valid/active U.S. work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Assists experienced commissioning specialist coordinating electrical deliverables.
• Prepares and reviews electrical sketches, CX plans, and data sheets.
• Performs basic electrical calculations and reviews supplier documentation for specs.
• Travels to customer sites as needed and communicates effectively with team and customers.
