Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Principal Field Clinical Lead to advance pre- and post-market TAVI studies across the US. You will lead sites, mentor teams, and partner with Clinical Affairs, R&D and Commercial to shape evidence and future products.

The role emphasizes education, procedural guidance, and high-quality data generation while maintaining strict adherence to GCP and quality standards. Remote US collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• Education-based eligibility: AD with 13+ years, BA with 10+ years, or MA with 5+ years in related fields.
• Extensive clinical research experience in Field Clinical Affairs or Medical Device ops.
• Deep clinical and procedural knowledge of structural heart therapies; strong training ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical trial leadership and site management across assigned trials.
• Provide procedural guidance and support during investigational TAVI procedures.
• Educate physicians, coordinators, nurses and Cath Lab staff on protocols and devices.
• Collaborate with Global Clinical Affairs, R&D, and Marketing on trial design and execution.
• Mentor junior Field Clinical Leads and drive cross-functional projects.
• Ensure compliance with FDA GCP, quality systems and study protocols.
• Travel ~50–75% to support sites and investigator meetings as needed.
