Job summary

NRECA is seeking a Field Services Representative to serve as the primary contact for member cooperatives across ID, MT, NV, and WY. You will educate management and employees on retirement, health, and welfare benefit programs, and collaborate with HR and leadership to design participation strategies.

The role requires strong consultative and presentation skills, ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, and willingness to travel extensively within the multi-state territory.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in group employee benefits, retirement programs, financial services, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively within assigned territory (≈80%).
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary field liaison for ID, MT, NV, and WY territories.
• Educate and advise coop management on retirement, health, and welfare programs.
• Conduct on-site and virtual co-op visits to support engagement and plan participation.
• Deliver presentations to boards, management teams, and employees to communicate benefit concepts clearly.
• Collaborate with compliance, underwriting, actuarial, and implementation teams on plan changes.
