Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Field Applications Engineer to provide technical support to PCB designers and manufacturing groups. You will influence routing, impedance, and material choice, while guiding customers through design-for-manufacture decisions and roadmap development.

This role interfaces with Sales, Development, Pre-Production Engineering and Operations across NA and APAC. Ideal candidates have a strong PCB engineering background, 6+ years experience, and excellent

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 6+ years in PCB engineering or related manufacturing roles.
• Experience with impedance and signal integrity.
• Experience with PCB CAM software and tooling.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel 15–25%.

Responsibilities

• Educate customer designers on DFM and DFV; reduce design cycle time.
• Update customer designers on capabilities and set roadmap through presentations.
• Understand TTM manufacturing capabilities to support QTA/NPI/High Volume Manufacturing.
• Identify future customer needs and communicate roadmap gaps to engineering/operations.
• Analyze customer designs for manufacturability, impedance, and specification improvements.
• Establish technical contacts between customer and TTM to deepen relationships.
• Assist pre-production in resolving on-hold issues and support sales with technical insights.
• Travel for customer site visits and key programs as required.
• Create and conduct technical capability presentations with the sales team.
• Balance communication between Sales, Development, Pre-Production Engineering and Operations.
