Amphenol Corporation is seeking a Senior Field Applications Engineer (FAE) to serve as the primary technical liaison between customers and internal engineering teams. Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in Field Applications Engineering, Design Engineering, Technical Sales, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of connectors, interconnect systems, cable assemblies, or related electromechanical products.
• Experience guiding customers through design, qualification, validation, and production.
• Proven ability to communicate technical concepts and build customer relationships.
• Experience with CAD software such as Creo or SolidWorks.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary technical contact for assigned customer accounts, building relationships with engineering, purchasing, and program management teams.
• Partner with Regional Sales Managers to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities.
• Drive technical design wins by understanding customer applications and recommending Amphenol solutions.
• Support customers through product development, from concept to production.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and Manufacturing on customized solutions.
• Conduct customer visits, technical presentations, product demonstrations, and design reviews.
• Provide guidance on connector products and design optimization for applications.
• Review drawings and specs using CAD tools like Creo or SolidWorks.
• Influence customer decisions by showing product value and advantages.
• Support new product launches and relay customer feedback to internal teams.
• Stay aware of industry trends and competitors to spot growth opportunities.
• Travel to customer sites to strengthen relationships and support business development.
