Key Responsibilities

The Senior Field Application Engineer (FAE) will lead pre-sales and post-sales support initiatives by collaborating with customers, partners, and internal business groups (BGs) to drive successful sales conversions. This role requires leadership in technical solution development, customer relationship management, and training programs. The Senior FAE will serve as a technical expert and team leader, helping to drive strategy, ensure project success, and elevate team performance.

Job Objectives & Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Development

• Lead technical engagements with key customers, serving as the point of contact for critical projects.
• Mentor and guide junior FAEs, providing technical direction and leadership in customer-facing projects.
• Take ownership of complex technical challenges, ensuring proactive solutions and project success.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies, priorities, and resources.

Customer Solutions Development

• Lead the effort to understand customer requirements and develop tailored, optimized solutions.
• Prepare and present design proposals and technical submittals while influencing customer decisions.
• Oversee and perform on-site testing, installation, and troubleshooting of systems.

Customer Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key customers, ensuring early involvement in design-in projects.
• Serve as a trusted advisor for customer technical needs and elevate issues when necessary to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with internal teams (HQ and Factory) to ensure smooth project execution and alignment of deliverables.

Technical Expertise and Training

• Lead the development and delivery of technical training programs for internal teams, partners, and customers.
• Act as the go-to technical expert on data center solutions in Thermal and Cooling systems.

- Troubleshoot field failures and recommend improvements to products or processes.

- Continuously identify and communicate industry trends to the sales and product teams.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Field Application Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or in a leadership role within the data center thermal or cooling industry
• Preferred experience in CDU, liquid-to-air, liquid-to-liquid cooling.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing customer relationships, driving projects, and mentoring teams.
• Strong background in Power Electronics with the ability to solve complex technical challenges.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Pay Range

USD $160,000.05 - USD $180,000.00 /Yr.

Preferred Qualifications

• Self-driven, results-oriented leader with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with strong presentation skills.
• Experience working in a team leadership role with cross-functional groups.
• Ability to travel up to 20%, including overnight stays.
• Bilingual in Mandarin is a plus.
