Universal Orlando is seeking a skilled fiberglass technician to fabricate, maintain and repair fiberglass ride tracks, slides and interactive figures. Duties include layup, gel coat restoration, and cosmetic repairs to ensure safe, operational attractions while coordinating with painting, assembly and planning tasks.

Requires 5+ years in composite repair, knowledge of gel coatings and spray/brush techniques, plus experience documenting inspections.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical school preferred.
• Previous training in automotive bodywork, marine or aerospace industries is essential.
• Experience with fiberglass repair and gelcoat is required.

Responsabilités

• Perform structural and cosmetic fiberglass repairs to slides and ride tracks under supervision.
• Carry out gel coating on rides and tracks using spray or brush techniques and color matching.
• Assist in recovery and repair of fiberglass/gelcoat surfaces for water attractions.
• Maintain figures, props and tap stations; assist inspections and disassembly/assembly as needed.
• Complete inspections for wear/damage and communicate findings in the maintenance system.
