Qualifications

• 5–7 years of structural lay up of composite matting materials and finishing repairs.
• Experience properly preparing indications and feathering composite materials to ensure no discrepancies remain.
• Knowledge of spraying and brushing gel coatings.

Responsibilities

• Performs structural and cosmetic fiberglass and carbon fiber repairs to ride vehicles and props under supervision and guidance.
• Selects materials and computes resin/catalyst amounts for saturation and adhesion.
• Applies multiple layers of mat/fiber to achieve required thickness and strength.
• Performs hand layups on molds and ensures proper adhesion and smoothness.
• Creates vacuum bag barriers and operates vacuum pumps to remove air from repair areas.
