Role requires work on or near electrical transmission and distribution systems using bucket trucks, ladders, and climbing structures, with strict adherence to safety standards and MAD. Candidates may relocate at their own expense within 45 minutes of Ashland, KY.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical degree or telecom experience preferred.
• Must have completed Telecommunications Fiber Specialist‑B (or equivalent).

Aufgaben

• Perform advanced to expert installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of overhead and underground fiber optic systems
• Lead complex troubleshooting, testing, and system diagnostics
• Operate bucket trucks, aerial devices, and service vehicles
• Perform complex fiber splicing, testing, and connectivity work
• Lead and coordinate work activities; provide technical guidance and training to team members
• Inspect, maintain, and ensure safe use of tools, vehicles, and equipment
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and system documentation
• Follow and reinforce all AEP safety policies and procedures
