Job summary

Talus Development, LLC is seeking an ETA Fiber Technician to install, splice, and troubleshoot fiber cables across outdoor sites in varying weather. You will read splice details, document as-built results, and maintain quality while following safety standards in AZ.

The role requires an Arizona driver’s license, 2+ years of fiber experience, and proficiency with EXFO OTDR and testing tools. Weekly pay, benefits, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Arizona driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of fiber optic splicing and troubleshooting experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Able to work on sites with stairs, ladders, bucket trucks, and uneven terrain.
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions (heat and cold).
• Ability to distinguish color-coded fiber jackets.
• Proficiency with Excel and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high quality workmanship adhering to industry and customer standards.
• Assist with field training of Fiber Tech I team members.
• Edit and update customer-required documentation (e.g., as-built docs).
• Provide accurate invoicing data to leadership.
