Job summary

EOS IT Solutions is seeking an Optical Service Technician to install, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic and network infrastructure across production environments. The role supports migrations and QA with a focus on repeatable processes and documented run books.

Requires 5+ years in network infrastructure, fiber testing certifications (OTDR/OLTS), and willingness to travel locally to multiple sites for field deployments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in the network infrastructure industry.
• Extensive fiber optic installation, testing, and troubleshooting at scale.
• Experience in live production environments and data center migrations.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic cabling systems.
• Perform OTDR and OLTS testing and analysis.
• Execute installation services per project specs and standards.
• Ensure QA/QC standards are met across activities.
• Support network migrations within production environments.
• Document testing results and project deliverables accurately.
• Coordinate field activities with technicians and managers.
• Lead safety briefings and field coordination as required.
