Job summary

EOS IT Solutions is seeking an Optical Service Technician to install, test, troubleshoot, and ensure quality of fiber optic and network infrastructure in production environments. The role supports migration projects, develops run books, and leads field activities with a strong focus on safety and standards.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in network infrastructure, expert fiber testing skills (OTDR/OLTS), and the ability to interpret technical drawings while working effectively in live,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of documented experience in the network infrastructure industry.
• Extensive experience with fiber optic cable installation, testing, certification, and troubleshooting at scale.
• Experience working within live production and mission-critical environments.
• Ability to read, interpret, and execute technical drawings, specifications, and testing requirements.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic cabling systems.
• Perform OTDR and OLTS testing and analysis.
• Coordinate field activities and lead migration procedures with run books.
• Document testing results and project deliverables accurately.
• Support network migration projects in production environments.
• Ensure QA/QC standards are met.
